About the Chairman
Chairman Shangbu Bhote (Lhomi) is a passionate advocate dedicated and visionary leader to theflourishing of ethnic communities in the Himalayan region. With a profound understanding of cultural heritage and a passion for holistic development, Shangbu plays a pivotal role in advancing initiatives
that foster equality, education, and sustainability among underserved populations.
Shangbu holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu, Nepal and gained 9 years of experience as a government teacher in his home town. In addition to his teaching career, Shangbu served as Campus Chief, founder principal for 2 years in Arunodaya Higher Secondary School, Sankhuwasabha.
His commitment to social development spans 17 years of active involvement in various social organizations reflectiong his dedication to community empowerment and upliftment. Shangby is also a prominent figure in the world of sports, serving as district member of the Archery Association of Sankhuwasabha. His role in these associations highlights his enthusiasm for preserving and promoting traditional sports while contributing to the broader atheletic community.
